The Calendar of events for Bike Week 2003 is now posted on the City of Toronto's web site: Events Calendar - Bike Week 2003. Bike week officially runs from May 26th to June 8th, 2003 but the calendar lists cycling related events between from May 1st to June 27th. Bike Week is Toronto's annual celebration of cycling and there will many ways to celebrate such as ribbon cuttings on recently completed Bikeway Network projects, group rides including the group commute on May 26th, pancake breakfasts, activities for children and more. There some Toronto Bicycling Network hosted rides including BikeToronto.ca Network Connections ride scheduled for June 7th. On this ride we will tour some of the new Bikeway Network Facillities built in the last year or planned for this year that have been reported on here at BikeToronto.ca. I will post more details on this ride in a future article.
