A portion of the Highland Creek trail has been washed out. On Sunday April 8 we were cycling on the trail and came across a fenced off portion. It is about 1 km south of the picnic area in Morningside Park or about 2km from the Eastern start of the trail. A picture of the damage is below. There is one section that is fenced off where the Creek Bank and asphalt are gone (Hole #1) and a second section a few metres away where just the creek bank is gone up to the edge of the asphalt. (Hole #2)

I am going to check who to report these to at the City of Toronto so this can be repaired.

I won't get be on this trail this weekend so if someone can post a reply to this if they have more information such as it has gotten bigger or it has been fixed.
