The next meeting of the Toronto Cycling Committee(TCC) will be held on Monday, November 17th at 7:00 pm. It will be held in Committee Room 2 at City Hall, 100 Queen Street W.

One of the items on the agenda is the presentation of the Bike Plan year end progress report for 2003. The report will outline what has been done by the City to Implement the Bike Plan over the past year. There will be a report on the upcoming 2004 budget approval process.

Another task is setting up a nominating committee to appoint the members of the Toronto Cycling Committee for the next three year term. The mandate of the current cycling committee officially expires when the new council takes office. In practice the current committee will serve till the new TCC members are appointed. The first step of selecting the new members is setting up a Nominating Subcommittee. If you are considering applying to beocome a member of the TCC for the next term, this may be a good opportunity for you to see what the TCC meetings are like.
