Some may accuse the Toronto Cycling Committee(TCC) of having a hidden agenda - but it's just not true. It is there for all to see on the City of Toronto's Web site.

www.city.toronto.on.ca/legdocs/2001/agendas/cp.htm

All the agendas are posted there prior to the meetings.

This is the first meeting after the summer break and it will be the first meeting since the Toronto Bike Plan was approved at the last City Council meeting on July 26th, 2001(see report). As you can see from the agenda it will be a full meeting. One of the issues that will be dealt with are the priorities for the Bikeway Network for 2002 and updates on the work that has been completed this year. Some other issues on the agenda are: the reprinting of the City of Toronto's Bike Map, possible initiatives to reduce cycling on sidewalks, and a report from the Toronto Police on their 'Cycle Right' Campaign (see report) that was conducted during the summer.

If you want to see what happend at the meetings you can also find the minutes of past TCC meetings on the City of Toronto's web site.

www.city.toronto.on.ca/legdocs/2001/minutes/cp.htm

These are normally posted a couple of months after the meeting since they are not posted till they are approved at a subsequent TCC meeting.

After the meeting I will post some of the highlights.
