There will be a TCC meeting on October 15, 2001. The agenda is posted on the City of Toronto web site.

Some of the issuse to be discussed at this meeting :

Toronto Waterfront Development Plan. The TCC is trying to get stakeholder status to represent cyclists in the planning process for the new waterfront. How we can get involved in the process will be discussed.

Bike lanes on Fort York Blvd. between Lakeshore Blvd. and Bathurst Street.

OMG Recycling Containers. There have been complaints from cyclists regarding these containers. Their doors sometimes open out into the street posing a danger for cyclists. At the June meeting of the TCC this issue was raised and the TCC made some recommendations towards improving the design and placement of these containers. At this meeting we will receive a response to our recommendation from the department of Works and Emergency Services.
